You know something? With the discovery of the 'tendrils'/'feelers', I think I finally feel like I have discovered every physical detail of my inner-self... Wow.
I know there is still much to learn - about the species' culture, their history, their language, their planet, how physics worked, what other creatures existed there, etc. - and I accept that I may never remember/learn everything about it in this life, but I feel a sense of satisfaction and peace I've never experienced before, not like this. It's...nice. Not an overwhelming feeling that hit me hard, more of a subtle washing-over-me type of thing, like having a warm blanket drawn over you. It's a sense of comfort. :)

What do they feel like? You know, Your feelers? In my world (sounds so cliche XD) the physical body was not something crucial and important, so changing (and adjusting to the situation) appearance was not a big deal. So imagining how different bodies feel (especially two/four-legged-mammals-like) is not so difficult for me, but... the feelers? I totally can't get it. They are so long! The muscles which kept them in the air had to be pretty strong... And moving, turning around in forest-like terrain without them getting smashed by branches, stuck between something... it's hard to imagine!

(kinda PS - damn, why there's so much letter doubling in here? Is that normal o_O?)

I'm still stuck on small details, but knowing the base body structure and things really helps. Like I still don't know really what her natural markings are, or what she wore in her mane/tendrils, so far all I have is black fur and a fondness for a red mowhawk and tail tuft (even in times of peace)

I saw the discovery of the feeler tendrils you'd posted and, to me, that's such a foreign concept. I thought about "what if I had had those?" and trying to imagine what they'd be like really weirded me out! I think it's always so interesting that our 'kin selves look fairly similar but we're actually so, so very different... and still able to get along so well.

Stuff like this is always a joy to see. It's wonderful that you've made this discovery, Kani. As always, I can't wait to see more from you.
